Chugs Bunny and sneak peek at new items!

Happy Easter to everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day today!

As part of these celebrations don't forget that Chugs Bunny has arrived at the Park with a very special Easter quest!

You'll have to look for several eggs that Chugs Bunny lost around the city. These eggs can be found both indoors and outdoors and they are minuscule, so you'll be needing a keen eye to get them.

The prize is a complete bunny suit for all your Easter needs HAHAHAHA! Be sure to check out the quest before Chugs Bunny departs on April 22nd.

In other news, I've got a special sneak peek for you guys. Very soon you'll be able to find new playercard skins in the $hop. Sylva was very kind to show them to me and allowed me to post them here (THANK YOU!). So without further ado, check them out:

But that's not all! New designers, Fizzy and Flynn, have come up with a whole new type of playercard skins. Some of them will now include an awesome pin at the top left corner of the playercard, like below:

Isn't that amazing? Sylva also has a special design exclusive to her which makes a great combination with her outfit. However, to see that one you're going to find her in the game :P

April updates!

April has launched with full force and there are many things to talk about, so let's get to it.

First of all, I'm happy to announce that I have been selected as part of April's Journalists, however, the official list has not been posted by the main blog. I know this because when I entered the game I received this message:

When the official list is released I will update the Journalist page.

The new Citizenship page has also been released which means a new monthly item!

I will be sure to show it to you once my Citizenship renews :)

Also, the nightmode feature in the game can now be disabled in the menu as shown below:

Sadly, you guys won't find a cool Omiguy in the corner of your menus like the picture above. I'll be sure to let the team know that they should add it in the future. HEHEHEHE!

Additionally, Choproff has been updated and the quest will now reward the correct amount of bugs: 200 for Juniors and 400 for Citizens.

Finally, once again I'm happy to announce that one of the suggestions from the Suggestions Corner! has been implemented in the game.

Checkers will not force you to make a jump anymore! YES! Thank you team!

For those of you who don't know, the Suggestions Corner! is a part of this blog dedicated to give suggestions for the game.

New Shakespeares to arrive soon!

Boy am I glad that I'm posting about this? I sure am! An application process for April's Shakespeares is here!

As you may know, February and March didn't have Journalists, which was sorrowful, but April started off with the right foot!

Do you think you have what it takes to become a Journalist? If so, head over to the main blog by CLICKING HERE and submit your application.

Remember that Journalists get some sweet perks like:

• A wicked playercard skin
• A purple name tag
• A feather item

And much more!! A Journalist's job is to bring news to the Chotopia universe in a cool and innovating way. If you want to put your creative skills to the test, then Journalism is definitely for you.

On a side note, I'm working on a new design for the blog to celebrate Easter, just like I did with St. Valentine's and St. Patrick's. It should be finished in the next couple of days. In the meantime, enjoy the new header and the Official Design of the blog. It's been a while since we've seen that one right?!

The January Shakespeares have been announced!

Gather around, gather around! The January Journalists have been announced!

Today Katara has announced this month's Shakespeares and I'm happy to announce that I was selected to be one!

In the picture above you can see three of the perks that you receive when you become a Journalist: the playercard skin, the Feather and the Journalist badge.

To be or not to be!

To be or not to be a journalist? THAT is the question!

The team has officially opened applications for January's Journalists! Shakespeare say what?!

You heard me right! Umm, well, read me right. Anyways, if you love writing as much as I do and you own a blog, don't hesitate to go to the main blog and submit an application. Journalists are the main source of information in Chotopia (apart from the main blog, of course) and they have some pretty cool privileges if you ask me:

1. A journalist badge with the title of your blog and an exclusive and wicked playercard
2. The feather item, so you can invoke the mighty powers of Shakespeare
3.  You will be able to contact a moderator through PC even when their playercard is blocked (Shakespeare powers, I'm telling you, they're great)
4. Moderators will bookmark your blog
5. You will get featured in the main blog! (Can I get a WHAT WHAT!?)
6. A purple name tag, because everything is better when you add the color purple to it, just ask Barney

HOLD YOUR HORSES THOUGH!

There are requirements, however, and they are as follow:

1. Thou shall post on a weekly basis
2. Thou shall inform the team if thou will head over the seas on a vacation
3. Thou shall be creative! No copying from other sources!
4. Thou shall right correctly... hehehe
5. Thy blog shall have at least one active Shakespeare and a maximum of three (3) Shakespeares.

And that's it! Pretty neat right? Once the January Journalists have been announced I will create a separate page with the list, similar to the Suggestions Corner! page. The image you see above will be located in the sidebar to redirect you to it.
