Tropical party recap!

Today the team celebrated the long awaited tropical party at Mission Street! YEAH! Here are some highlights of the event:

• They gave out this amazing Captain Chokru Background:

• They reduced in half the price from the Pirate's stash:

• They wanted to pick a player dressed with the tropical theme to accompany them on top of the tiki head. That player turned out to be me HEHEHE. Squad goals:

• They also announced two things. The first one is that Captain Chokru will leave tomorrow, so you better get those items and complete his quest fast! The second is that after the Asteroid competition there will be a Robots competition! YASSSSS!

Meet our new Agent!

Let's give a big round of applause to the great Agent101 who has become our newest Agent! WOOHOO!

The team has not made an official announcement, but I went to his playercard and saw that he was already given his Agent badge.

And although the team had said that more than one Agent was going to be selected, I checked Sony's and Bebot's playercard, who gained second and third place respectively, but neither of them had the badge.

Furthermore, the Agent page only features Agent101 as you can see below:

Therefore, I am assuming that the only Agent selected has been him.

Which is why I want to congratulate him on this magnificent achievement. I know that you're going to do a fantastic job as Agent.

Today is a very special day because I have reached 400 days in Chotopia! WOOHOO!!

I joined on December 16, 2015 and I completely missed my 365 days in Chotopia, HAHAHA! 

I actually never noticed that I had reached one year in the game.

I also want to congratulate our Elite Agent, Blaine, because he is turning a whopping of 1,000 days today!

He is actually the reason that I noticed I had turned 400 because seeing his age made me curious about mine. LOL!

As part of the weekly competitions in January, today a new score board has been opened. This time the honor goes to Asteroid located in the Gamezone!

You have until January 25th to become the very best!

On a side note, but still somewhat related, I'm happy to say that I won the Cow Mission competition that ended today! YAY!!!

Here's the list of prizes I got:

• Ten thousand (10,000) bugs for my account

• Three (3) days of bug boost. This boost doubles the amount of bugs I earn. And with the boost I have already from my Citizenship this seems like the perfect opportunity to go farming (no pun intended) for bugs.

• Seven (7) days of Citizenship! YASSS!

Helping Captain Chokru locate all the pieces for his ship has been a rigorous and arduous work. For this reason he has invited everyone to Chotopia's biggest and craziest flash flood ever!

Martin Luther King Jr.

Every third monday of January, the United States commemorate the day of Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a fervent fighter of civil rights and accomplished many remarkable things in his life, including, but not limited to, being awarded five honorary degrees, being named Man of the Year by Time magazine in 1963 and winning the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of thirty-five (35).

Happy Three Kings Day!

One of the best parts about living where I do is that Christmas is not over after December 25th. Not even after the 31st! Christmas celebrations continue for a few more days and one of the festivities celebrated in that extra time by many countries around the world is the "Three Kings Day".

The "Three Kings Day" is a celebration done in January 6th and each country that celebrates it does it in a different way.

'Tis the day for new arrivals!

It looks like today has been a great day for all the shops at Chotopia! First the new accessories, then the new Easter Island Head at Chokru's ship, and now the $hop has been restocked with some amazing items. Check them out!

In the Items section they have added three different kinds of Flash suits for those who are fan of the unstoppable hero:

Dum Dum! Give me some Gum Gum!

A mystical force has brought a new item into Captain Chokru's ship! YIKES!

I'm talking about this very big and expensive Easter Island Head which probably appeared on the ship when Captain Chokru found the Tablet of Ahkmenrah (Night at the Museum, anyone?) in one of his searchs for treasures around the city.

Although this looks pretty wicked and cool, 100K Bugs is a lot to give in one go. I would probably have to think a lot to buy it. However, the price is going to add some rarity to the item, which sounds super cool.

Today I was taking a friendly walk through the Shop and I stumbled across new items! YES! I LIVE FOR THIS!

As you can see from above, I have recently acquired this beautiful chat bubble from the Shop. But do you want to hear the best part? I got all the money required using just Candy Canes! SAY WHAT?!

Though gathering 1,200 Candy Canes proved to be a rigorous work, I've gotta say that I feel very accomplished to have achieved it.
